Who this is for

Hurt in a car accident. Neck and back strain, whiplash and shoulder injuries are common after a crash, whether it happened on the Kam Highway or anywhere else.

Hurt on the job. Lifting strains, repetitive strain, and falls show up across a lot of different jobs — construction, landscaping and farm work, hotel and restaurant work, and desk work all load the body differently, and all can land you here.

How we work

We start with a hands-on evaluation to see how you’re moving and what’s driving your pain. Treatment blends manual therapy with progressive exercise and a home program you can keep up with between visits.

If your injury happened at work, we also look at the demands of your job — lifting mechanics, workstation setup, repetitive tasks — and build an ergonomics plan to support a safe return to work.

Insurance & billing

If you were hurt in a car accident, we bill your auto (PIP) insurance directly. If you were hurt at work, Hawaiʻi requires a physician’s prescription before we can start workers’ comp physical therapy — your doctor’s office can send that over ahead of your visit.

See Insurance & pricing for more on what your plan may ask for.

What to bring to your first visit

  • Your claim number
  • Your adjuster’s contact information
  • For workers’ comp: your doctor’s prescription

Please don’t include your claim number or any medical details when booking online — bring them to your first visit or call us instead.

When to get checked by a doctor first

Some symptoms after a car accident need a doctor before they need PT. Get checked, or get to an ER, if you have:

  • Severe or worsening headache, confusion, or loss of consciousness
  • Numbness or weakness
  • Trouble controlling your bladder or bowels
  • Chest or belly pain — call 911 or go to the ER
